Key Performance Areas (KPAs) & Principal Accountabilities:
- Identify high-authority websites and influencers for link-building opportunities.
- Conduct detailed competitor backlink research using tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Moz.
- Maintain a well-organized database of potential link prospects.
- Craft compelling personalized outreach emails that get responses.
- Build and nurture relationships with bloggers, webmasters, and journalists.
- Secure guest post opportunities, niche edits, and other link placements
- Work closely with our content team to create link-worthy content.
- Conduct HARO (Help a Reporter Out) outreach to secure media mentions.
- Develop strategies for digital PR link building to land placements on high-profile websites.
- Improve outreach strategies based on open rates, response rates, and conversion rates.
- Stay updated with SEO trends, Google algorithm updates, and outreach best practices.
- Monitor backlink performance and impact using Google Analytics & Search Console.
Requirements
Desired Skills and Experience
- 2 + years of experience in link building or digital PR
- Familiarity with WordPress, HTML, and basic SEO principles.
- Knowledge of automation tools like GPT-powered outreach to scale efforts.
- Experience with broken link building, skyscraper technique, and digital PR.
